Over the Moon Therapy is an early intervention provider serving children with developmental needs. Our services are provided in natural environments, wherever children and families typically find themselves: home, child care environments or other community locations (parks, playgrounds, shopping centers, etc.). We provide developmental therapy services and developmental therapy for visually impaired babies and toddlers birth to three years of age.
We tailor these services to specifically target each child's needs with an Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP). Our practitioners design intervention strategies that are built around a family's daily routines and activities. Depending upon location, Over the Moon Therapy can provide all necessary services, including initial evaluations (to determine eligibility) and all IFSP authorized services, to individuals of all developmental levels ages 0-3.
Developmental Therapist/VisionThe role of the Developmental Therapist is to understand the complex nature of the many forces that influence child development as that development progresses through natural changes from birth to 3 years. To recognize deviance from that progression in any area of development. Comprehend the developmental importance of specific skills and the influence of those skills on other skills as well as all areas of development. To minimize a child's functional limitations by designing, implementing, and modifying therapeutic interventions for the child and the family and to offer consultation to other therapists and professionals on confounding developmental influences affecting each area of expertise and developmentally appropriate practice for children birth to three years.
